Good affordable air purifier

It does detect pollutant property and adjust the fan speed.auto mode works well ...it's very quiet in low fan speed mode ...it's good for nigh.overall happy with performance of this purifier

A Great Buy !!

Was thinking about buying an air purifier since last year , researched a lot about various technologies on offering and finally closed on Honeywell Air Touch V2 . The best part is the design, which is stylish and stands out from all the other brands which I had seen on web and in the market . Secondly many low priced models available in the market, lag many features like filter indicator or PM 2.5 led colour or night mode etc which even this entry level offering of Honeywell has. Highly recommended for people who are brand cautious people , who loves design & want a truly clean air environment at home.

Better than expected

ok after a lot of thought bought this one and after lot of analysis came to a conclusion not to buy a air purifier which emit negative ions. actually experiencing the difference air quality also operation is very silent. packaging was neat but since its a new launch i am finding it difficult online to register this product. over all satisfied so far. now happily sleeping with AC on and no breathing issues. i thought it dint make a difference initially but purifier sensed the smoke pretty well that is when i knew its working well.will review back after a month

Amazing product on price

I had considered other purifiers but when I saw reviews I decided to give this a try , this is where it helps make us customers make informed decision thanks to all reviewers out here ....Now for the pros and cons :-PROS :-1. Recognised brand Honeywell is a global company with some amazing products so too quality2. Design of the purifier is very simple & elegant3. Touch sensitive buttons are nice edition4. Its innovative design allows to suck it maximum air through its vents5. The filters are easy to install and clean6. The mash net comes with a plastic cover remove it before using , its cleans the larger dust particles & very easy to clean with a dry cloth7. The Hepa filter is the heart of its process fine silicon honey cones on one side and activated Carbon on the other , its solid build8. Using it for over one month no problems yet9. The Air quality senser is very accurate it detects pollutants easily than adjusts fan speed accordingly on Auto modeCONS :-1. Since it sucks air from alot of directions it tends to get dirty with dust in alot of places aside from filters like on top , area between filters & even fan so cleaning needed2. As with all air purifiers its suction is not very powerful if u have alot of furniture in your room chances are it will only do a small area3. Its placement is key to getting optimal air quality4. The Hepa filter is of high quality but so is the price so long run might not be economical5. On maximum speed its very noisy so I put it on manual speed only6. If u look at the machine its just a fan & filter nothing innovative just milking the market because there is a demand , so years down better products will come or improve7. The life of the filters depends on pollutant levels of the environment so one month on my machine its working fine it might be different for othersI have shared some pictures hope they help

Fairly quiet and very effective

For the first 30-40 seconds it measures the air quality and decides whether to run on full fan speed mode or low fan soeed mode. The light will always be orange for the first time you turn it on because it takes 40 seconds to decide. The light turns Blue, Orange or Red based on the level of air pollution.I recommend that you run it on auto mode always. And keep cleaning the pre filter made of Net with water and soap after every 7-10 days to remove dust etc.And check my video to see how you can open and change the damaged filter

First purchased one then ordered 2more for other bedrooms.Pros-1.IT WORKS JUST FINE WITH MINIMALSTIC FEATURES AND DOES IT JOB PRETTY WELL.2.ITS NOISE CAN BE ADJUSTED BY CHANGING FAN SPEED.3.DECENT SUCTION POWER BEST FOR BEDROOMS.4.OLED DISPLAY IS GOOD.5.THE AQI REALTIME SENSOR ALSO IS VERY ACCURATE WITH FAST READING AND RESPONSE TIME.6.LOW POWER CONSUMPTION.7.GOOD LOOKING, EASY TO PLACE ,PRE FILTER EASY TO REMOVE CLEAN AND REINSTALL.8.GOOD SERVICE AND REPUTED BRANDCons-1.HEPA FILTER REPLACEMENT NOT EASILY AVAILABLE2.HEPA FILTER REPLACEMENT ON AMAZON COSTS AROUND 3K.VERDICT-In a city like Delhi during Oct-Nov it is a must at least during the sleep time for 8-10 hrs should be used throughout night with doors and windows closed.It will help reduce the symptoms and in the long run prove beneficial for the lungs.Some people say you get used to the air purifiers but it is not the case as using it for like 10-14hrs a day just gives your lungs time to heal and repair the damage caused by polluted air you breathe otherwise. Definitely recommended this one as it's cheap I got them for about 5500 by buying I'm combo.CARE-if you have pets like I do then it's very effective but don't forget to clean the pre filter every 2 days otherwise in every 4-5 days. It will help increasing life of hepa filter as the macro dust and pet dander and hair won't pass pre filter and get stuck on HEPA if u keep pre filter clean.Also do not use the same product for every room alternatively as it puts more pressure on one filter and a filter costs 3k around so it's more economical to buy a separate machine for difft bedrooms and use them throughout night.I guess filters will last 2 -3 seasons of Delhi's peak pollution if used in such a way.

Great bang for the buck!

Ordered Air Touch A5 last week when pollution levels rose alarmingly in Delhi. As always, Amazon delivered it on time and it was well packed.Unpacked it, removed polythene packing of the filters, ensured that the doors and windows of the room were closed, connected the power supply and switched it on. Within 30 minutes the air quality indicator changed from poor (red) to medium (amber) to good (blue). I could feel the difference in the air quality.Extremely satisfied with the air purifier and ordered another one yesterday for another room. Highly recommend it. Go for it.

Very good product and value for money

It is meant for large room/ living area. It's working perfectly, the air quality readings are correct as I also have Philips air purifier for bedroom and I compared the readings of both side by side.It has humidifier feature which is again very good.I purchased this after considering Dyson, Philips, Coway. I highly suggest either go with Philips or Honeywell if you have pet at home because only Philips (few models) and Honeywell provide a mechanism to capture large pet hair and designed to have bigger suction area. All other manufacturers have switched to the design which can capture only small hair/particles due to small holes design.At 25k it's a deal breaker for me.

Good Purifier in this range

I have bought this Purifier after returning Atlanta Beta 350, because the real time air quality indicator in that was behaving as pre programmed. Just to check I sprayed much deodrant in the room and scattered dust by cleaning my bedsheet , but there was no response and still indicator was showing green, which ofcourse was wrong, as anyone could feel the dust in his nose at that time. Then i decided to go for this one, just because of the brand name and I am quite satisfied with it. Although it is very difficult to feel the exact change in air quality, but with the amount of dust gathered in its filters in two days, it means it works a lot. Its real time indicator is excellent. You just open any gate or window, within 2 mins, indication from blue changes to yellow. It changes immediately when there is cooking in the room. I believe instead of going for 7 stage filtration that has no substantial proof with it, its better to go with 3 stage Purifier that has credibility to its name worldwide.

Excellent product for Asthmatics and poor air quality

I bought 2 Honeywell products together1. Honeywell HAC25M1201W 53-Watt Room Air Purifier for my bedroom and2. Honeywell Move Pure Car Air Purifier (Bold Black) for my car.I have 2 asthmatic family members whose allergy is severely triggered everytime the air quality in NCR dips, especially October onwards. This problem has existed for years altogether.This year however, I decided to invest in the above 2 products and the results are astounding. Both members now have a peaceful sleep in the night and have exibited remarkable recovery in breathing. Travelling has also become much better and free of breathing discomfort with the car air purifier (though it could do with a slightly reduced noise level). My experience has been so good that I am compelled to write this review for the benefit of other people, specially those suffering from breathing difficulties in the NCR region.Noise level of the room air purifier is slightly high in the max fan speed mode, but it is amazingly quiet in the sleep mode. Honeywell should add some noise damping in a future design review.Excellent products both (just reduce the price of replacement filters pls).
