This device is extremely necessary for connecting the DP to HDMI. It was very well and was better than the cheaper cables that stopped working in a month time. Writing this after using it for 5 months and no problems so far, works well with my Samsung 20 inch monitor.

he idea behind buying this product was to connect our decade old VGA monitor to our Azom Exigo laptop workstation. There is an HDMI port and to modern monitor ports, but no VGA connector (obsolete technology, I suppose). So, this adapter would have to allow us to connect the old monitor’s VGA output and provide an HDMI connector to the Exigo’s input.Short story still short – the HDMI adapter worked like a charm. The entire setup was plug-and-play and we didn’t have to adjust any settings. Disconnecting the monitor from Windows’s Mobility Center sends it into power saving mode, so we can turn it on only when we live stream, which was the entire purpose for setting it up in the first place. So far, over two days, there have been no problems

But Honeywell HDMI to VGA adapter is one of the premium quality products in this category which people rarely notice or buy. You get what you spend the extra bucks for. Those who believe in no compromise with quality, go for this one.Personally I bought it from local store at 1250 INR. I use this to connect HP 15-AY542TU 15.6-Inch Laptop (Resolution 1280 x 720) to Dell S2340L 23-inch LED Monitor (Resolution 1920 x 1080), my main purpose is watching 1080p movies.From Display settings in Windows 10, I choose “Show only on 2” option, i.e to show the display only on Screen 2 (Dell Monitor), and it gives a brilliant sharp image output of 1080p. Honeywell provides 3 years warranty on product.
